Comprehensive health care – that’s North Ottawa Community Health System’s commitment to the community. As such, our Board of Trustees and Administration recognize that our role is not simply to treat illness. In addition to providing traditional hospital services, we work to improve the long-term health of the individuals and communities we serve. Each year, our Community Education department reaches out to hundreds of people in the community through special classes, screenings, support groups and seminars designed to help people live healthier, fuller lives. Whether you are looking for a free blood pressure screening, help to manage your diabetes , a low-cost health screening, CPR class or a childbirth education class, we have something for you.
For questions about any of our programs, please call the Community Education office at (616) 844-4659.
